not sure but if not mistaken this is the first casualty in the history of malaysian motogp...back in the 90s (it was 500cc series), i used to watch eddie lawson, wayne rainey and kevin schwantz in action here.
he died after horrific crash this afternoon...as he slid, he was hit by american rider edwards and fellow italian rossi.
