they say no to sandy...we say yes to sandy

maybe some underestimate the hurricane sandy…knowing superstorm or so called a ‘perfect storm’ is coming with thought of america’s modern networking, lessons learned  from the 911 in facing public chaos  plus well equipped and well prepared actions in facing the disastrous moment…still succumbed at last, bow to the force of mother nature.
just imagine, this is America…it is not 3rd world countries somewhere in asia or africa.
it was monday night on 29 october, superstorm sandy with 80mph winds slams northeast, triggers massive blackouts and flooding ….and the aftermatch, worse than we thought.

sandy was not dayslong onslaught but just within hours as the storm further makes its way into inlands.
came as surge of seawater, flooding its tunnels and subway, blackout, made peoples homeless and deaths.

a week after, still commuters battled unruly crowds and snarled traffic to return work monday, authorities scrambled to clear tonnage of debris, tens of thousands of people unable to return homes, night of near freezing temperature without heat and power.

short of gas (petrol), supplies and hiked prices for food and water.
learning hardship in modern country, facing crisis.
definitely it takes much longer for the 10 affected northeast states to recover.

but this time why america?

not that we want to but could not imagine if typical to sandy hits peninsular and then hooked to the right heading east malaysia.

we are grateful living beings here? nay, i don't think so...

over here,  we adore hardship and we love crisis.

creating our very own 'sandy'.... 'slamming' and 'bashing'  among us...enticing a 'perfect storm'.

interesting uhh?

only God knows…
